Was launched January 21, 2008, by editor Colin Mockett with a team of industry friends.
We had three main aims.
Firstly, we wanted to provide Geelong's theatre, music, festival and concertgoers - and our visitors - with a comprehensive, all-inclusive, instant and ever-ready guide to the wonderful range of live entertainment staged in our region. This information needed to be displayed and set out in a clean, clear manner and the site to be simple and easy to use.
Secondly, our aim was to create a site that would assist our theatre and music groups - there are more than 30 theatre and 50 musical groups in the region - with promotion, news and reviews.
And thirdly, by publishing a full-year diary, to help them plan future events avoiding date clashes and bottlenecks.
